About the position

To accelerate new business development, Loglass is establishing an overseas development hub in India, positioned as a Global Capability Center (GCC). In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of new product features at this international hub.

You will collaborate closely with the New Business Team (including the Head of New Business, Lead Product Manager, and Designer) and the Engineering Team in India. Your responsibilities will include defining specifications based on business requirements, user experience, and technical feasibility, as well as overseeing development progress, conducting analysis, and ensuring successful releases and operations. Working alongside designers and engineers, you will drive product development as part of a cross-functional team.

For the first six months to a year, this role will involve frequent business trips to India, approximately once a month or once every two months.

Initially, the role will involve collaborating with domestic product managers to develop existing products, making it more of a project manger oriented position. However, in the mid-to-long term, you’ll take full ownership of a new business as a product manager.

Responsibilities

  • Define the development roadmap in collaboration with the Head of New Business and Lead Product Manager
  • Create Product Requirement Documents through requirements analysis and definition
  • Propose and prioritize development items
  • Participate as a Product Owner in the Scrum process at the overseas development hub
  • Support collaboration between designers in Japan and engineers overseas
  • Conduct quality checks and manage the quality of development deliverables
  • Communicate with various stakeholders in the new business domain

Requirements

  • Experience leading product development or project management
  • Experience in defining key challenges and prioritizing solutions
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to engage stakeholders both within and outside the product development team
  • High-level proficiency in Japanese, including strong verbal and written communication skills (equivalent to JLPT N1)

Compensation

¥7,000,000 ~ ¥12,000,000 annually.
