About the position

We are looking for a full time, full stack engineer who is comfortable working both on the frontend (React) and backend (microservices). • Adding features to our Node.js services when needed in the UI
  • Support and troubleshooting of issues reported by clients

  • Knowledge of REST and microservices architecture
  • Experience with creating APIs and microservices in Node.js (or the skill to transition from another backend framework to Node.js)
  • Knowledge of databases: we use Postgresql as our main database backend, Mongodb for some parts, and Redis for caching

These aren’t required, but be sure to mention them in your application if you have them.

  • Experience working with AWS (or general devops experience)
  • Experience working with Docker

Compensation

5 to 7 million JPY annually.

Hiring Process

  1. 1

    1st and 2nd technical interviews

All interviews we conduct are remote via Google Meet. The technical interviews are focused on general discussions, but we do also test any programming skills that your resume lists.

  2. 2

    HR Interview

The HR interview will be a more general check of if you’re a cultural fit. It will be conducted by one or two members of the HR team, and often the engineering manager will participate as well.

  3. 3

    Hiring Interview

This final step, conducted the same day as the HR Interview, will be with the CEO, who will ask you about things like your motivation for joining.
