Porters develops and operates SaaS for businesses in the human resources industry, and has one of the largest market shares in the domestic recruitment industry. We use machine learning technology to improve matching accuracy through detailed job-seeking and job information analysis, and work with recruiting, temporary staffing, and human resources to improve their workflows through automation.
Over half of our employees are originally from overseas. Communication within the company is mainly in Japanese, and documentation is written in English, though we have the occasional discussion in both languages.

About the position
In this role, you’ll work on our React app and the services that power it (using NodeJS with TypeScript and a zest of Java). As part of this, you’ll write automated tests, and work with the rest of the team to improve our practices regarding code health, testing, testability, and maintainability.
You’ll be joining the Business Development Office. With a startup mindset, it’s dedicated to launching new businesses. Our team currently has seven members (5 engineers, 1 designer, 1 PM), and is made up of people from France, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, China, and the UK.
2+ years of experience developing in React and NodeJS.
Annual salary of 6-10 million yen.
