About the position

Responsibilities

  • Join our development team to enhance our advanced logistics platform.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement new features.
  • Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
  • Grow your skills through teamwork, brainstorming sessions, and code reviews.
  • Expand your knowledge in digital forwarding and logistics concepts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Good understanding of React (rendering, hooks, routing, state, etc.)
  • Experienced with CSS styling and some familiarity with UI frameworks
  • Good debugging skills using tools like Chrome DevTools
  • Decent architectural understanding, including design patterns.
  • Fast learning and being able to adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Motivation to learn digital forwarding and logistics concepts

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Basic experience with working with REST APIs
  • Ability to set up and configure JavaScript projects
  • Experience writing tests using Jest or similar tools
  • Creating sketches or design mockups for visual concepts
  • Basic conversational skills in Japanese

Compensation

5 to 7 million JPY annually.
