We are looking for a frontend engineer to work on the development of our new data analytics product.
For the frontend, we plan to use JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React, and Next.js. For the backend, we plan to use Python, FastAPI, Pandas, and Spark/Hadoop.
Responsibilities
- Developing the frontend component of the product, from design to development and testing, in collaboration with other team members such as PdM and backend engineers.
- Working with UX designers to continuously improve the UI.
- Technical maintenance after the product is released.
Requirements
- 3+ years frontend development experience
- 1+ years React and Next.js experience
- Being able to implement software following best practices, and not just gluing together things you find online or through AI chat
- Basic knowledge of data analysis, machine learning, statistics, or related fields for understanding use-cases and user-stories (e.g. having taken an online course)
Nice to haves

- Backend web development experience
- Cloud platform experience, such as AWS and Azure
- Experience in developing products and services related to data analysis and machine learning
- DevOps platform experience, such as Jenkins, Github, or JIRA
- Container technology experience, such as Docker
- Agile and Scrum software development experience
- Startup experience
Compensation
8 to 10 million JPY annually.
