Our web app uses Ruby on Rails, and also serves as the backend API for our mobile apps. As a Rails Engineer, you won’t be restricted to only using Ruby, and if you want to touch other parts, such as developing our mobile apps using Swift and Kotlin, or using machine learning, you’ll have the opportunity to do so.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Listens to the problems of others and enjoys creating software to solve them
- Has been involved in server side (logic, DB design / operation) or front-end design (UI/UX)
- Has experience working in a team but is also highly self-sufficient and able to manage their own schedule
- Values efficient coding practices and has extensive knowledge of software architecture
- Bonus for those who are interested in healthcare, food and recipes
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in Web development
- Nice to have: Those who have experience working on AWS, MySQL, Ruby on Rails, React.js
