As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the team to use modern front-end technologies to develop fast, scalable, intuitive applications within our line of HR (Human Resources) services.
With more than 12 million users, Money Forward is one of Japan’s leading tech companies. Money Forward Cloud is our SaaS applicant, aimed at enabling businesses to automate and streamline their accounting and HR operations - and within this product, the our line of HR services has the most usage. As the number of companies implementing our solution continues to grow, a major focus for us is improving the user experience of our product.
We are currently recruiting a new team to re-architect our Money Forward Cloud Payroll software. You will be leading this team to create efficient frontend solutions. You will have the opportunity to provide input on the new team’s structure and organisation.

Responsibilities
- Lead the re-architecture of the “Money Forward Cloud Payroll” frontend system
- Reduce tech debt and develop new features
- Provide guidance and empower the team to enhance their frontend development capabilities
- Improve legacy frontend systems and lead modernisation of the frontend
- Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in the frontend landscape
- Share knowledge and technologies with team and across the wider product team
Requirements
- Experience with any of the following Javascript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular)
- Experience with re-architecting and refactoring frontend solutions already in production
Nice to haves

- Business-level Japanese

Compensation
7.008 to 10.008 million JPY annually. Includes allowance for overtime.
